A delegation from the Yemeni Students Union in Indonesia visited Universitas Bangka Belitung as part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen relationships with educational institutions across Indonesia and explore new avenues of cooperation that serve Yemeni students.
The delegation included:

Mr. Mohammed Saad Al-Sharim, Deputy Head of Public Relations
During the meeting, the Union introduced its vision, objectives, and activities, highlighting its various academic and cultural programs dedicated to supporting Yemeni students across Indonesian universities.
The delegation also presented an overview of Yemeni students’ academic presence in Indonesia at bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral levels, emphasizing the Union’s commitment to building effective partnerships with educational institutions to enhance students’ academic and professional development.
The discussion also covered potential areas of future cooperation, including educational programs, training initiatives, and cultural activities that would benefit Yemeni students and strengthen their positive engagement within Indonesian society.
The Rector of Universitas Bangka Belitung welcomed the delegation warmly, expressing appreciation for the visit and affirming the importance of strengthening academic and cultural relations with Yemeni students. He also praised the Union’s role in representing and supporting students and expressed the university’s readiness to expand joint cooperation.
This visit reflects the Union’s strategic direction toward building sustainable partnerships with Indonesian universities to better serve Yemeni students and expand academic, cultural, and humanitarian collaboration.
