The lecture presented the academic journey of a Yemeni PhD student in Public Health at Indonesian universities, offering participants a comprehensive overview of the field and the experiences associated with pursuing advanced studies abroad.

The session explored the different stages of studying public health, the motivations for choosing the discipline, and the role of field training and practical experience in developing professional competencies and research skills. It also highlighted the importance of public health in addressing community health challenges and improving quality of life.

In addition, the speaker shared personal and academic challenges encountered throughout her educational journey, including adapting to a new environment, balancing academic responsibilities, and overcoming obstacles associated with postgraduate studies abroad.
