A cultural evening was organized to commemorate the 35th anniversary of Yemeni unification under the patronage of the Embassy of the Republic of Yemen in Indonesia. The event was implemented by the Yemeni Community in Indonesia in coordination with the Yemeni Students Union in Indonesia.
The program featured a presentation by Dr. Yaseen Ahmed Al-Tamimi, who discussed the history of Yemeni unification, its national significance, and perspectives on its future. The evening also included a poetry contribution by Osama Al-Areeqi, along with artistic performances and cultural activities that reflected Yemeni heritage and national identity.
To encourage audience engagement, a live cultural competition was held with prizes awarded to participants. The event provided an opportunity for members of the Yemeni community and students to come together, celebrate a significant national milestone, and strengthen social and cultural ties.
The evening reflected the importance of preserving national memory, promoting cultural awareness, and fostering a sense of belonging among Yemenis living abroad.
