As part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen academic and cultural partnerships, a delegation from the Yemeni Students Union in Indonesia conducted an official visit to UIN Salatiga University, aiming to explore opportunities for mutual cooperation that serve Yemeni students and expand academic engagement with Indonesian educational institutions.

During the meeting, the Vice Rector of the university warmly welcomed the delegation and expressed appreciation for the visit, affirming the university’s readiness to explore cooperation in several areas, including joint student activities and potential collaboration in Indonesian language training programs for Yemeni students.

University representatives also highlighted their interest in strengthening academic and research cooperation, noting that the university publishes three scientific journals, two of which are indexed in Scopus, and expressed openness to collaboration with Yemeni researchers and academics in relevant fields.

On his part, the President of the Yemeni Students Union expressed his gratitude for the warm reception and confirmed the Union’s readiness to sign a cooperation agreement with UIN Salatiga, which would help provide outstanding Yemeni students with academic opportunities and enhance their educational presence.

He also emphasized the Union’s willingness to serve as a bridge between UIN Salatiga and Yemeni academic institutions, opening broader horizons for academic and cultural collaboration that benefit Yemeni students in Indonesia.

The Union reaffirmed through this visit its commitment to building effective relationships with universities and educational institutions, working to create better opportunities for Yemeni students and strengthen mutual cooperation for the benefit of all parties.
