Yemeni Students Participate in the International Culture Festival at Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto
Yemeni students at Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto participated in the International Culture Festival (ICF), representing Yemen alongside participants from more than fifteen countries. Yemeni students at Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto participated in the International Culture Festival (ICF), an international event that brought together representatives from more than fifteen countries to celebrate cultural diversity and promote intercultural understanding.
The participation was supported and coordinated by the Yemeni Students Union in Indonesia, which contributed to establishing a Yemeni cultural pavilion showcasing various aspects of Yemen’s rich heritage. The pavilion featured traditional Yemeni cuisine, folk costumes, cultural handicrafts, and multimedia presentations highlighting Yemen’s history, traditions, and cultural identity.
The Yemeni pavilion attracted significant interest from visitors and participants, providing an opportunity to introduce international audiences to Yemen’s cultural richness and historical legacy. Through this participation, Yemeni students played an important role in promoting mutual understanding and strengthening cultural exchange within the university community.
The event also reflected the Union’s commitment to supporting student initiatives and encouraging active participation in international activities that enhance Yemen’s cultural presence and foster positive engagement with diverse communities.
