The Yemeni Students Union in Indonesia implemented an Indonesian Language Diploma Program for Yemeni students as part of its efforts to support academic success and facilitate students’ integration into Indonesian society and university life.
The program was designed as a comprehensive language training pathway consisting of three levels: Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced. Each level lasted for one month and included three instructional sessions per week, allowing participants to progressively develop their language skills in reading, writing, listening, and communication.
The diploma program was delivered by Tariq and Omar Al-Maqtari, who provided structured lessons and practical language training tailored to the needs of Yemeni students studying in Indonesia.
Participants received certificates upon completing each level, and those who successfully completed all three levels were awarded an Indonesian Language Diploma Certificate in recognition of their achievement and language proficiency.
The initiative contributed to improving students’ ability to communicate effectively in Indonesian, enhancing their academic performance, and strengthening their confidence in engaging with the local community and educational environment.
